    The following position(s) are currently vacant:

    Special Education Specialist: This position carries a small special education caseload and serves as the district LEA at PreK-12 IEP meetings. Because this position also serves as a resource and trainer to other special ed and general ed teachers, this positions requires at least 5 years of special ed experience and special ed licensure as at least a Level 2 teacher. Candidates will be interviewed as applications are received, and the position will be filled as soon as possible, potentially before the 19th.

    Assistant Volleyball Coach:  The district will help obtain licensure as needed. For best consideration submit application and letter of interest to stewart.burnett@emsdbears.us by July 12th.

    Substitute Teachers: Minimum High School Diploma or GED required to obtain proper licensure. The district will help you obtain necessary certifications and training. (Application needs to be picked up in-person.) $80.50 to $101.99 per day depending upon education. 

     


    The Estancia Municipal School District has also developed a partnership with the Central Region Educational Cooperative to ensure top-quality services for students in our exceptional programs. The CREC is actively recruiting the following positions in our area:

    Educational Diagnostician: This position is part-time in Estancia with option for full-time position with additional district placements. Minimum qualifications:  Licensure as an Educational Diagnostician with the NM Public Education Department or eligible to apply for license (see https://webnew.ped.state.nm.us/bureaus/licensure/how-to-apply/educational-diagnostician-pre-k-12-2/ for licensure requirements) 

     

    Speech-Language Pathologist: This position is part-time in Estancia with option for full-time position with additional district placements. Minimum qualifications: Licensure in Speech Language Pathology from the New Mexico Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board or eligible to apply for license, and licensure with the NM Public Education Department or eligible to apply for license. School-related experience is preferable but beginning SLPs and those new to the education environment will have access to experienced and supportive SLPs to enhance their success in the position.

     

    Occupational Therapist: This position is part-time in Estancia with option for full-time position with additional district placement. Minimum qualifications: Licensure with the Board of Examiners for Occupational Therapy in New Mexico or eligible to apply for license, and licensure with the NM Public Education Department or eligible to apply for license. School-related experience is preferable but beginning OTs and those new to the education environment will have access to experienced and supportive OTs to enhance their success in the position.
